Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Mr. And Mrs. North, the 1942 Robert B. Sinclair detective murder mystery crime screwball comedy ("World's funniest female becomes detective in riotous chill-mystery!"; based on the stories by Frances & Richard Lockridge; about a publisher and his author wife, and they return home one day to find a dead body, and the wife wants to clear all of their friends, but in doing so, she discovers who the murderer was) starring Gracie Allen (in a rare solo appearance without George Burns; in the title role as Mrs. North), William Post Jr. (in the title role as Mr. North), Paul Kelly, Rose Hobart, Virginia Grey, Tom Conway, Felix Bressart, Stuart Crawford, Keye Luke, and Jerome Cowan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This poster has been professionally linenbacked. It now looks great, and most dealers would describe it as "fine (or mint) on linen". We have noted the defects that were restored below (and feel everyone should always do this!). Many collectors would not be aware of the restoration this poster has had unless it was specifically shown to them! Condition: good. The poster had a fair amount of damage down the center fold, and it has had considerable paint restoration in that area. Surprisingly, it is not very noticeable or distracting. The poster looks quite nice from any distance! There was also minor. Most of the linenbacked posters we sell were restored by the finest professionals. An expertly linenbacked poster will often appear "mint", as its defects have been made to "vanish". We are the only seller we are aware of who always tries to describe the condition of the poster prior to being linenbacked, so you are fully aware of what restoration was performed.
