An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Music Publicity Still (Learn More) Pearl Bailey was one of the first highly successful black African American singers/actresses from the 1950s through the 1980s. She headlined the all-black Broadway version of "Hello Dolly!" in 1968. Some of her movies include: Porgy and Bess, Carmen Jones, and The Landlord. She passed away in 1990 at the age of 72. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Pearl Bailey! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall!
