Flash Gordon is the fictional comic strip superhero created by cartoonist Alex Raymond in a newspaper strip in 1934. There were three incredibly successful movies starring Buster Crabbe in the title role in 1936, 1938, and 1940, Flash Gordon, Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars, and Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe. The character became widely known and has been used in a wide variety of media, including motion pictures, serials, television, and animated series.

Important Added Info: Note that Nostalgia Press, owned by Woody Gelman, published three deluxe hardcover books reprinting classic Flash Gordon comic strips by Alex Raymond. The first one was called Flash Gordon and measured 11" x 14", the second one was called Flash Gordon in the Water World of Mongo and measured 9" x 12", and the third one was Flash Gordon in the Ice Kingdom of Mongo and measured 9" x 12". We are currently auctioning all three books in three separate auctions. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads.

Condition: good to very good. The dust jacket has wear around the edges.
