Barnum put it, 'There's a sucker born every minute.'"; "Based on the novel 'Addie Pray,' by Joe David Brown"; about a con man and his young daughter who travel the country cheating people) starring Ryan O'Neal, Madeline Kahn (nominated for Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), John Hillerman, Tatum O'Neal (winner of the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film; billed as "introducing Tatum O'Neal as Addie"), and P.J.
