What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It had creases running across the lower part of the image, entering the lower part of the girl's dress and the soldiers to the right of that, and also with one crease slightly entering the artist's signature. It had creases in the top 3" of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
