An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14 1/4" x 19 1/4") (Learn More) One Night At Susie's, the 1930 John Francis Dillion romantic boarding house murder crime comedy (about an older lady who runs a boarding house which has lots of gangsters and bad people staying there, and her foster son gets accused of murder, and the gangsters help the mother get her son freed) starring Billie Dove, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Helen Ware (in the title role as Susie), Tully Marshall, and James Crane NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/4" x 19 1/4". This window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded. Condition: good to very good. The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame. There are some faint smudge marks throughout the card, including in Dove's face, but they are not all that distracting. There were creases and tears across the top blank border and someone put clear tape on the back of that area and also on the back of the bottom border, mostly for reinforcement.
