An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" [19 x 23 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Leslie Howard was a top English star from the 1910s to the 1940s. Some of his movies include: Gone With the Wind, Pygmalion (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), In Which We Serve, Forty-Ninth Parallel, Berkeley Square (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and The Petrified Forest. Howard was at the height of his popularity when he passed away in 1943 at the age of 50, when the plane he was in was shot down by Germans.
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Leslie Howard! Of course, autographed items from Leslie Howard are far more difficult to obtain than the majority of 1930s stars, because of his tragic death in 1943. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" [19 x 23 cm]. Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from The Written Word Autographs.

As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.

Condition: good to very good. The still was trimmed to 7 1/2" x 9 1/4" (no doubt to fit a frame), but it display well (see our image).
