A Limited Edition 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Re-Strike Still (#24/50) (Learn More)

Stanley Kubrick was a director from the 1950s to the 1990s. Some of his movies include: Spartacus, Dr. Strangelove, Paths of Glory, A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and Full Metal Jacket. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 70.
Important Added Info: Note that this is a re-strike still (of Stanley Kubrick and Rosemary Williams from 1949) that was created in 2011 by VandM and the Museum of the City of New York from the original negative in a limited edition of 50, and this one has been hand-numbered 24/50 (on the back)! Also note that the item comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from VandM and the Museum of the City of New York. We don't know what this originally sold for, but when these limited editions were announced in 2011, the company announced that they would be priced from approximately $400 to $2,500 per photo! Rosemary Williams was photographed by Stanley Kubrick in 1949 for a proposed article for LOOK Magazine (he had an article in Look about the boxing Cartier Brothers, but they did not publish the Williams photos in 1949), and she seemed to have a bright future, but she faded into obscurity pretty quickly.

Condition: fine. This re-strike photo is in excellent condition!
