The Triffids are killing!"; "A brain-chilling tale of tomorrow happens in our world today!"; "The Triffids are coming to devour the human race!"; "From the greatest science-fiction novel of all time!"; "... suddenly the hideous crawling things are everywhere... and no one can escape!"; "From the nightmare novel that made the world shudder"; "From the Novel by John Wyndham, author of 'Village of the Damned'") starring Howard Keel, Nicole Maurey, Janette Scott, Kieron Moore, Mervyn Johns, and Janina Faye. Note that Janette Scott is best remembered for her starring role in this movie, which was immortalized in the lyrics of the song from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" that says "And I really got hot When I saw Janette Scott fight a triffid that spits poison and kills." Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: very good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is uncut and complete. There is tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner of the cover, a tiny tear in the bottom center of the cover, and some faint creases scattered around the edges of the covers.
