Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this Australian campaign book, and that was 8 years ago, when it sold for $291! Note that this is the Australian campaign book. It is somewhat similar to the U.S. campaign book for the same year but a knowledgeable collector tells us that there are differences in the cover design and content (likely due to a different release schedule). The final page is entitled "Metro-Goldwyn Films Ltd. specializing in service to exhibitors in Australia and New Zealand", which gives information about who headed the MGM offices in those two countries. There is also a small box at the bottom that says "This book is entirely an Australian production and is a testimony to Australian brains and craftsmanship". There are a couple of credits, and then it says "Entirely set up and printed by Messrs. Waste & Bull, Sydney". Condition: good to very good.
