He was the number one star of Broadway in the 1920s, and was called "the world's greatest entertainer", and Warner Bros. chose him to star in the first "talking movie", The Jazz Singer, which was based on a play about Jolson's life (but oddly, George Jessel played the role on Broadway!). Note that the items in this lot are from the 1910s to the 1920s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Note that someone framed two of the sheet music, and they glued the last page to a mat. In one case, the rest of the sheet music came loose from the last page. The winner of this auction will receive 4 sheet music, two of which were glued to mats (see our images, which include the pictures of the back of the mat and the loose interior page).
