An Original Vintage Unfolded Advertising Poster (measures 20" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

Oasis Cigarettes, the circa 1950s poster advertising for the Ligget & Meyers cigarette brand, Oasis ("Oasis takes you away... from the everyday!"; "Try Oasis. Delightfully different. A REFRESHING change!"). This poster features great artwork of an open pack of Oasis cigarettes on an island with a palm tree. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this was a special "weatherproof" poster. It was printed on a special paper that was supposed to be able to withstand the elements so that it could be "adaptable for either outdoor or interior display". The poster was printed with a 1" border all around and that was folded over and glued to the back (and the above information is printed on the back of one of those borders, so this was obviously how the poster was intended to be used).

Condition: very good to fine. There is slight darkening in the edge of the bottom of the right border.
