An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10 1/4" [21 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Going Spanish, the 1934 Al Christie musical comedy short ("A musical comedy"; "Fun south of the border"; "Music by Godoy's Argentine Band"; Bob Hope is vacationing in a mythical South American country, and he has a car crash with the mayor of a small village called Los Pochos Eggos, and the two men begin tearing each other's cars apart; fortunately for Bob, there is a tradition in the village that one day each year, any crime is forgiven if the criminal sings a song afterwards, and amazingly, this is that day; but then, Bob tries to make time with the mayor's pretty girlfriend) starring Bob Hope (in his very first movie role!), Leah Ray, Frances Halliday, and Jules Epailly (as the mayor) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we know that Fox made a one-sheet for this comedy short, because we auctioned it many years ago, but that, and any other first release movie paper, is incredibly rare.
