An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Now and Forever, the 1934 Henry Hathaway romantic crime family relationship melodrama ("Little Miss Marker meets Prince Charming!"; "He had an unbroken record of broken hearts clear 'round the world! Be he broke his own heart... when he broke his word of 'honor bright' to a little girl... his tiny daughter he had never seen... until they met in a dream garden!"; an unusual movie for Gary Cooper, because he plays a loser who has a daughter he's never seen, and wants to sell her to the highest bidder and live with beautiful girlfriend Carole Lombard, but when he meets the girl, played by adorable Shirley Temple, he wants to keep her, but he gets involved in a robbery, and he reluctantly gives up the girl to a wealthy woman, who is the woman who owned the jewels they robbed, so that she can have a good life) starring Gary Cooper, Carole Lombard, Shirley Temple, Guy Standing, and Charlotte Granville. Note that Gary Cooper and Carole Lombard were two of the absolute most charismatic male and female stars at the time this movie was made, and yet the movie was "stolen" by their 6 year old co-star, Shirley Temple! Important Added Info: Note that this wonderful candid still shows Gary Cooper holding smiling Shirley Temple on his lap as she holds a teddy bear in this Paramount studio portrait by A.L. "Whitey" Schafer! Note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Note that we are currently auctioning over 100 ultra rare 11x14 stills (some measure slightly smaller) that are mostly from the 1930s, all in separate auctions! The highlight of these is the 58 of them that were consigned to us by a collector who acquired them many years ago, and they feature wonderful images of many of the greatest 1930s Hollywood stars, including James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart, Gary Cooper, Edward G. Robinson, and many others! These are many times more rare than 8x10 stills, and are very rarely offered for sale or at auction, and many of these may be "one of a kind"! This is a very rare opportunity to acquire one or many of these extreme rarities! Condition: good to very good. There is a diagonal crease with tiny surface paper loss in the bottom left corner. There is an extremely faint partial vertical crease running down the right side of the still, and an even fainter horizontal crease running across the upper part of the still. Both creases are so faint, that they are virtually invisible from the front, but you can see them from the back of the still, but they barely show in our image of the back, showing how light they are. I really don't think they would be noticed by anyone viewing this still from the front, except very slightly in the background to the right of Cooper's mouth. Learn More about condition grades
