The poster had a light partial extra vertical fold 2" to the left of the regular one. fine surface paper loss on parts of some foldlines (typical of high-gloss posters of this period). Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Also, the rice paper border below the bottom border of the poster is separating from the linen behind it, but this solely affects the excess at the bottom, and not the poster itself.
