Banned from marriage... Sentenced to prison for a crime she did not commit... ...and the guilty man goes free!"; "Based on a famous Tolstoy novel"; about a Russian peasant girl who is seduced and abandoned by a Prince, and she becomes a prostitute, and years later, she redeems herself by finding God, and she even forgives the man who caused her to fall so far) starring John Boles, Lupe Velez, Nance O'Neil, William Keighley, Rose Tapley, Michael Mark, Sylva Nadina, George Irving, Edward Cecil, and Grace Cunard. Note that a Spanish-language version of this movie was filmed at the same time, and Lupe Velez played the same character in both versions (but John Boles was replaced by Gilbert Roland).
