An Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Publicity Still (Learn More) James Brown was an actor from the 1940s to the 1970s. Some of his movies include: Irma La Douce, Inside the Mafia, and Black Spurs. He also appeared on TV's "The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin" where he played Lt. Ripley "Rip" Masters. Brown passed away in 1992 at the age of 72. He is not to be confused with the famous football player or the famous singer! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by James Brown! Also note that many celebrities kept multiple 8" x 10" (or smaller) copies of good publicity images of themselves to sign for fans, and also many memorabilia shops sold such copy stills themselves. While they are not original theater-used stills, they are usually excellent clear copies, with a great shot of that celebrity in their heyday, which, when signed by the celebrity, makes for a wonderful framed picture on any fan's wall! The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine. Many of the items he has consigned were purchased from an autograph store that was going out of business when the owner retired, and many of the items he has consigned to this set of auctions come from this purchase. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
