An Autographed 3 1/4" x 5" [8 x 13 cm] Cut Album Page (Learn More) Osa Johnson was an Africa explorer, documentary film maker and producer from the 1910s to 1940. She explored and made films together with Martin E. Johnson, her husband, and they were jointly billed as "Osa & Martin Johnson". Martin was killed in a plane crash in 1937, and Osa Johnson was able to release their final film, "I Married Adventure", three years later. Some of their other movies include: Among the Cannibal Isles of the South Pacific, and Wonders of the Congo. She passed away in 1953 at the age of 58. Important Added Info: This cut album page has been personally autographed (signed) by Osa Johnson! It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who was a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items, and over the years he did not re-sell any of the autographed items. Now he has gathered up together all of his autographed items and consigned them to us. So all of the items from this consignor we are auctioning were purchased by this dealer from longtime dealers and collectors, and we feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic!
