An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Belgian Movie Poster (measures 14 1/2" x 19 1/4" [37 x 49 cm]) (Learn More)

Le Grand Cirque (literally translates to "The Circus"), the 1950 Georges Peclet French World War II (WWII) military airplane aviation melodrama starring Pamela Skiff, Pierre Cressoy, Jean Barrere, Jean Christian, Roger Saltel, Alexander Dundas, Alain Terrane, Manuel Gary, Jean Ozenne, Jean Vilmont, Anne Laurens, Andre Chanu, and Pierre Larquey. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
Artist: d'apres Paul Langelle
Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned an example of this poster! Also note that this poster lists the artist as d'apres Paul Langelle which indicates that either this was not the first time this artwork was used, or that another artist copied and/or edited the original art. Finally note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14 1/2" x 19 1/4" [37 x 49 cm]. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). There is a partial tax stamp at upper right. It is otherwise in pretty nice condition!
