Mt. St. Helens, the stratovolcano in Skamania County, Washington. Mount St. Helens erupted on May 18th, 1980, leading to the destruction of forty seven homes and the deaths of fifty-seven people. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
