An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Forty by Sixty Movie Poster (40x60; measures 40" x 60" [102 x 152 cm]) (Learn More) Having Wonderful Time, the 1938 Alfred Santell romantic summer vacation comedy ("Screen Play by Arthur Kober Adapted from his New York stage success as produced by Marc Connelly"; about an office girl who leaves the city to go to a summer camp, and she gets romantically involved with a waiter at the camp) starring Ginger Rogers, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Peggy Conklin, Lucille Ball, Red Skelton (billed here as "Richard [Red] Skelton"; note that this was his very first movie, and that he was fourth billed!), Ann Miller, and Donald Meek NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that very, very few 40x60s from the 1930s survive. Many of them were like this one, where they were printed on what was essentially on a very large piece of photo paper, which was rolled and not folded, so surely very few survived past the first time they were used! Condition: very good. The poster had a 10" tear in the middle left of the bottom border that was repaired with clear tape from the reverse. It had tiny paper loss in the top right blank corner and some tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss around the edges. Other than these defects, the poster is in surprisingly nice condition.
