An Autographed REPRODUCTION Poster (measures 27" x 40" [69 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Barbara Steele is an English actress from the 1950s to the 2000s. Surprisingly, she was initially signed to a contract by 20th Century-Fox in Hollywood, but they didn't find the right movie to put her in, and fortunately for her, she took a trip to Italy in early 1960, and hit gold with the starring role in "Black Sunday" (La Maschera del Demonio). She then returned to the U.S. and she was cast opposite Elvis Presley in "Flaming Star", with dyed blonde hair, but sadly, she did not end up with that part (although publicity photos of her were created, Barbara Eden ended up playing the role). Some of her other movies include: Caged Heat, She Beast, and Pit and the Pendulum. As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 83! If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster (which is a REPRODUCTION of the original one-sheet, which has been glued to foamcore) has been personally autographed (signed) by Barbara Steele! It comes with a "certificate of authenticity" from Capital Sports & Decor attached to the back (it includes a photograph of the celebrity signing the photo). Note that because this poster is mounted to foamcore, it MUST be sent in a very large flat package that measures approximately 29" x 42". Please bear in mind the significant added expense of this very large flat package before bidding on this poster (but we have other similar posters in this auction, and all of them can be combined with each other into a single package, if one purchases more than one of these foamcore mounted posters).
