He's been back to film them every seven years... Now they are 49.") featuring Bruce Balden, Jacqueline Bassett, Symon Basterfield, Andrew Brackfield, and John Brisby. Beginning in 1963, Michael Apted created a documentary for BBC television examining the lives of a group of 14 seven year-olds, from different socio-economic backgrounds. Each succeeding seven years, Apted re-examined the same people (over the years, a couple have dropped out). Also, note that this was released theatrically in some countries.
