An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) South of Tahiti, the 1941 George Waggner South Seas tropical island romantic action adventure thriller ("50 Sarong-clad goddesses of love!"; "Original story, Ainsworth Morgan"; about an airplane that crash lands on a South Seas island, and one of the men falls in love with the daughter of the native leader, and the other men are after the natives' gold) starring Maria Montez, Brian Donlevy, Broderick Crawford (billed as "Brod Crawford"), Andy Devine, and Henry Wilcoxon NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had paper loss at the bottom crossfold and tears and areas of paper loss scattered in the bottom half of the vertical foldline. It had an extra horizontal fold in the left half of the top horizontal foldline, with some small tears and tiny bits of paper loss on the other foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
