Bezzerides - Based on his novel 'Thieves' Market'"; about a veteran who returns from the war and his truck driving father has been maimed, and he becomes a truck driver himself to find the people responsible) starring Richard Conte, Valentina Cortese (billed as "Valentina Cortesa"), Lee J. Cobb, Barbara Lawrence, Jack Oakie, Millard Mitchell, Joseph Pevney, Morris Carnovsky, Tamara Shayne, Kasia Orzazewski, Norbert Schiller, and Hope Emerson.
