Brannon action science fiction (sci-fi) serial ("Introducing a new character Commando Cody"; "A Republic serial in 12 chapters") starring George Wallace (as Commando Cody), Aline Towne, Roy Barcroft, William Bakewel, Clayton Moore, and Dale Van Sickel. Note that this movie utilized footage from the 1949 serial "King of the Rocket Men" (whose character wore an incredibly similar suit), and also used some footage from 1941's "Adventures of Captain Marvel"! Also note that the lead character from this movie proved so popular that the following year, Republic Pictures gave him his own serial, called "Commando Cody", but in that serial, he was played by Judd Holdren! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is the title card for the entire serial. There were also titles cards for each chapter. Condition: very good. There is a jagged 3" tear in the top center of the image just to the right of the title area. The tear is held together with tape from the back.
