An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More)

O'Malley of the Mounted, the 1936 David Howard Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) cowboy western melodrama ("From the story by William S. Hart") starring George O'Brien (in the title role as Constable O'Malley), Irene Ware, Stanley Fields, James Bush, Victor Potel, and Tom London. Note that this was a remake of the 1921 William S. Hart movie, which was written and produced by William S. Hart, and that is why he gets a credit on this poster!

Condition: good. This poster was NOT well restored. You can see signs of the restoration from a distance. This is a poster that would greatly benefit from additional professional restoration. See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!).

good to very good. There were pinholes and paper loss in the corners and an extra vertical foldline next to the regular vertical foldline; there was fold and border wear. Note that the paper at the bottom of the poster has tears in it and is lifting from the linen. I know that any talented restorer can re-glue those areas without re-backing the poster.
