Clifton"; about the son of a Los Angeles businessman who is at a horse show, and he sees a Spanish girl abducted by a car, and he chases the car on his horse, and manages to rescue her, and later, he finds out that her family owns the ranch in Mexico just south of his father's ranch in California, and that there are drug smugglers there, and he goes to try to stop the smugglers, but he gets captured along with the girl, and he is about to be executed when his horse, Silver King, shows up with American and Mexican cavalry that he was sent to find!) starring Fred Thomson ("and the Marvel Horse Silver King"), Bess Flowers, Tyrone Power Sr., William Courtright, and Clarence Geldart. Note that star Fred Thomson was a major silent cowboy star (along with Tom Mix), but he is forgotten today, because he tragically died of tetanus just when sound movies started. Surely there should be a film biography of his life (perhaps Johnny Depp could play the lead role!). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
