An Original Vintage Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) White Cargo, the 1942 Richard Thorpe British-in-Africa plantation romantic love triangle interracial romantic melodrama ("I Am Tondelayo!"; "From the stage play by Leon Gordon"; "Based on a novel by Ida Vera Simonton") starring Hedy Lamarr ("as Tondelayo"), Walter Pidgeon, Frank Morgan, Richard Carlson, Reginald Owen, and Henry O'Neill. Note that this was a notorious play from the 1920s that was toned down greatly for its Hollywood adaptation (most notably the title character was black in the original play, but became Egyptian/Arab in the movie). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good to fine.
