Charley's Nightmare, the 1917 silent comedy short ("Excruciatingly funny in multiple reels"; "Oh whata dream!"; "Also funny kartoons of Charley") starring Charlie Chaplin. Note that, based on newspaper ads, we know that this film was released in 1917, but we don't know if this was a compilation or a re-titled short (with an added cartoons).
