A Woman like Satan"; "Here's the part of Bardot you haven't seen yet!"; "For a price you can see her in the 'private upstairs room' of a sleazy Madrid fun-joint!"; "She couldn't love a man completely 'til she brought him down to her own passionate level!"; "In her hands... men were puppets!"; "You've never met a woman like Brigitte Bardot as 'The' Female"; "You've never met a woman like... 'A Woman like Satan'"; "Bardot lets the bars down!"; "Based on a novel by Pierre Louys") starring Brigitte Bardot, Antonio Vilar, Dario Moreno, Espanita Cortez, Claude Goddard, and Jess Hahn NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Note that it is difficult to accurately date Italian posters, and some unmarked re-release posters can be extremely difficult to distinguish from first releases, so please bear that in mind before you place a bid. We used our best information to date this poster, but we can't always guarantee that the Italian posters we sell are not from an unmarked re-release, but this will only prove to be true in a very tiny number of cases. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had paper loss at the top crossfold, extending into Bardot's cheek and eye, and part of her nose and mouth. It also had paper loss at the bottom two crossfolds and many small tears, smudges, and creases on the foldlines. It had small areas of paper loss in the left of the top horizontal fold and in the top quarter of the vertical fold. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking (due to the paper loss in Bardot's face). The poster was nicely backed, and the restorer did a nice job of repairing Bardot's face (given the extent of the paper loss), but you can clearly see signs of the restoration, so please read our description above and look at our super-sized image before placing a bid on this poster.
