Fresh Wars, the circa 1980s beer alcohol poster advertising Rainier Beer, featuring a photo of Buster Crabbe and others in full costume simultaneously spoofing "Flash Gordon" and "Star Wars" while enjoying Rainier Beer. Note that Crabbe is identified as "Fresh Gordon", who visited the planet "Bungo", and whose arch enemy was "Bing the Brewless". Apparently, Rainier Beer's slogan was "The beer that conquered the galaxy". We wonder if they paid any royalties to the companies they were spoofing!. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
