Bauman silent family relationship disaster romantic melodrama ("2 part feature showing a fearful mine explosion"; about a destitute man from high society who meets a nouveau riche coal mine owner who proposes that their son and daughter marry, which will give the destitute man much needed money, and he agrees, and their children have a troubled marriage until the coal miners threaten to blow up the mine, and the young husband risks his life to rescue someone trapped in the mine, and the movie ends with a giant real mine explosion, and the husband and wife now have respect for each other) starring William Desmond Taylor, Major J.A. McGuire, Charles Bennett, Bertie Pitcairn, and Otto Lederer NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: good to very good.
