An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded South African Movie Poster (measures 17" x 19 1/2") (Learn More) Woody Allen's Take the Money and Run, the classic 1969 Woody Allen bank robbery mock-documentary romantic crime comedy ("Crime lives!") starring Woody Allen, Janet Margolin, Marcel Hillaire, Jacquelyn Hyde, Lonny Chapman, and narrated by Jackson Beck. Note that Woody Allen had performed stand-up comedy and had done writing for movies and TV, but it was not until 1966 when he bought the rights to an obscure Japanese movie and dubbed it with incorrect dialog and he was credited as a "director" on the movie, which was released as "What's Up Tiger Lily?". But it was with this movie that he directed his first real movie, and of course, that led to his legendary career that followed! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we do not know what country this poster is from. It appears to have had 2" at the bottom that was trimmed off (perhaps it was like a window card), and the country information might have been there. It looks similar to South African posters we have sold in the past, so we are calling it that, but we really have no clue where it is from. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good. The bottom 2" of the poster were trimmed off and the poster now measures 17" x 19 1/2".
