The Big Wheel, the 1949 Edward Ludwig Indianapolis 500 automobile car racing sports thriller (set at the 1949 Indy 500!; "Roaring at you with mile-a-minute thrills!") starring Mickey Rooney ("in his most exciting role!"; "in a great, new thrill story!"), Thomas Mitchell, Mary Hatcher, Michael O'Shea, Spring Byington, Hattie McDaniel, Steve Brodie, Lina Romay, Allen Jenkins, and Dick Lane. Note that the advertising for this movie lists three people (Harry Popkin, Sam Stiefel and Jack Dempsey) as "presenters". Harry Popkin and Sam Stiefel were producers who took an active role in the making of the film, and they brought Jack Dempsey in as an investor

Condition: fair. There are pinholes and stains around the edges of the card and some stains to the left and right of the race car image. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back of the card!
