An Original Vintage Linenbacked Theatrical Stage Play Poster (measures 19 1/2" x 29 3/4" [50 x 76 cm]) (Learn More) Child Slaves of New York, the 1903 Charles Blaney white slavery detective crime mystery thriller stage play ("'He is the detective - you know what to do!'") starring Will H. Vedder, Harry Le Van, Lewis Wood, S.S. Simpson, and Harry First. The poster for this play features great art of a group of turbaned bearded guys (including "Kaldar The Mystic") grabbing a detective who has apparently infiltrated their white slavery ring! If anyone knows more about this play, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good to fine. The poster was never folded. It had a small tear in the lower left of the image and darkening around approximately half of each blank border (apparently, the poster was in a frame, and the portion that slightly darkened was the part that was under the mat). Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well! Learn More about condition grades
