An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] English Movie Still (Learn More) The Man Who Knew Too Much, the 1934 (released in the U.S. in 1935) Alfred Hitchcock English family relationship spy espionage kidnapping crime thriller (about an English couple vacationing in Switzerland with their teen daughter, and the husband finds out about a spy plot, and the spies kidnap his daughter to keep him from telling what he knows) starring Leslie Banks, Edna Best, Peter Lorre, Frank Vosper, Hugh Wakefield, Nova Pilbeam, and Cicely Oates. Alfred Hitchcock remade this movie in 1956 starring James Stewart and Doris Day (and kept the plot pretty much the same, but changed the daughter to a son)! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still, which is a "country of origin" still for this English movie, is only the third English still we have ever auctioned (we have previously auctioned some U.S. stills). Neither of the previous English stills showed Lorre or Banks, but this one has a wonderful close image of both of them! Also note that this English still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good. Someone typed the names of the stars on the back of the top border, which caused very slight indentations on the front of that area, but they are mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. There is a tiny tear, tiny creases, and very tiny bit of paper loss in the lower left blank border, with some tiny creases in the lower left and upper right corners. Other than the above, the still is in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
