The poster had some tears and small paper loss along parts of several folds, with a cluster of tears and small paper loss in the lower right of the image, just above the "DOW" of the title. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
