Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Jost Vacano (cinematographer). Also note that this is an advance one-sheet (note the "The most talked about movie in Germany is coming to America." at the bottom of the poster). This poster comes from a remarkable collection of 81 one-sheets (and one reproduction), which we are currently auctioning in 82 separate auctions. Our consignor was a college professor for a number of years, who was a close friend of Ray Harryhausen, and who became friendly with many Hollywood directors, actors, and crew members. He had a collection of movie posters in the 1970s, and when he would have a chance to meet an actor, director, or crew member, he would find one-sheets in his collection from movies that person had worked on, and he would bring it to their meeting, and ask the person to sign (and on several occasions, he was able to get more than one signature on a single poster), and some of the people who signed wrote an inscription, sometimes personalized to our consignor. He has passed away, and he did not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are 100% certain all the signatures on his 81 one-sheets are authentic, because they were acquired in person by our consignor. This is a rare opportunity to obtain vintage one-sheets with authentic signatures! UPDATED 06/09/2020: Note that we have identified the autograph as belonging to Oscar-nominated cinematographer Jost Vacano. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
