The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, the 1947 Joseph L. Mankiewicz England coast haunted house human-ghost-relationship romantic fantasy melodrama ("The spirit... so willing! The flesh... so weak! The romance... so wonderful!"; "From the novel by R.A. Dick"; about a widow in 1900 who rents a British cottage by the sea, and it is haunted by a long dead sea captain) starring Gene Tierney (in the title role as Lucy Muir), Rex Harrison (in the title role as the ghost, Captain Daniel Gregg), George Sanders, Edna Best, Vanessa Brown, Anna Lee, Robert Coote, Natalie Wood (in an early childhood role), Isobel Elsom, and Victoria Horne

Important Added Info: Note that the last time we auctioned a complete set of lobby cards for this movie it sold for $2,201!

Condition: good to very good. The title card has tiny defects along the borders, and there is a small scuff on Harrison's cheek in the upper left. Card #2 has a small, partial vertical scratch on Sanders' left shoulder and some light scuffs. There is also a small vertical scuff to his right. Card #3 has small, partial vertical scuffs in the upper center. Card #4 has a small scratch near Harrison's left shoulder and a partial vertical scuff above Tierney. Card #7 has a relatively large U-shaped scuff on the left, across Harrison's image, and a small, partial one above Tierney. Card #8 has a tiny scuff on Tierney's dress and a faint smudge in the upper right. Otherwise, the cards are in nice condition. They have no tape, front or back, and they have never undergone any restoration of any kind!
