Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had overprinting in the top blank area giving play dates (typical of Czech posters of this period). It had two tape stains in the top border, one extending into the edge of the image, and tiny paper loss in the top right blank corner. It had some small brown stains scattered down the right border and a brown stain in Novarro's cheek near his ear. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
