A 1975 Re-Release Theatrical Linenbacked French One-Panel "Grande" Movie Poster (1p; measures 46" x 60 3/4" [117 x 154 cm]) (Learn More) Senso (released in some English-speaking countries as "The Wanton Countess", and released in other countries under various other titles), the 1954 Luchino Visconti Italian historical romantic love triangle war melodrama (set in 1866, when Italy was at war with Austria, and it tells the story of a countess who has an affair with her Italian husband's Austrian enemy, and she betrays her entire country to keep the affair going) starring Alida Valli (often billed as "Valli"; best remembered as the female lead of The Third Man), Farley Granger, Heinz Moog, Rina Morelli, and Marcella Mariani. Note that Visconti made this movie 11 years after Ossessione and 9 years before The Leopard, but it is much less remembered than those two classic movies! The poster had tiny paper loss at just a few crossfolds and a very few creases, scuffs, and tiny tears on parts of some foldlines.
