An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Italian Two-Panel (known in Italy as a "4 Fogli") Movie Poster (2p; measures 55" x 78") (Learn More)

North West Frontier (released in the U.S. in 1960 as "Flame Over India"; released in some countries as "Kalapur"), the 1959 J. Lee Thompson English British-in-India military action adventure thriller starring Kenneth More, Lauren Bacall, Herbert Lom, Wilfrid Hyde White, I.S. Johar, Ursula Jeans, and Eugene Deckers

Important Added Info: Note that this Italian two-panel poster was printed in 2 sections (designed to overlap) and when combined, the poster measures 55" x 78".

Condition: fair to good. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, but sadly, WHILE THE POSTER WAS ROLLED, IT RECEIVED SIGNIFICANT WATER STAINING IN THE LEFT BORDER, EXTENDING 1" TO 2" IN THE EXCESS LINEN AND THE EDGE OF THE POSTER ITSELF, WHICH CREATED WATER STAINING IN THE LEFT BORDER, EXTENDING INTO THE ACTUAL IMAGE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE LEFT OF THE POSTER AND IN THE BOTTOM LEFT OF THE POSTER. Certainly, a talented restorer could remove this poster from the linen and either bleach the affected areas, or use paint restoration on them, and properly re-back the poster, but PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS POSTER UNLESS YOU CAN ACCEPT THIS VERY SIGNIFICANT DEFECT AND ARE WILLING TO PAY TO HAVE IT PROPERLY RE-RESTORED!
