An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Mexican Movie Poster (measures 27 3/4" x 37") (Learn More) Aventurera (literally translates to "Adventuress"), the 1950 Alberto Gout Mexican musical romantic crime melodrama (about a woman drugged, kidnapped, and forced to work at a brothel, but she plans her revenge) starring Ninon Sevilla, Andrea Palma, Tito Junco, Ruben Rojo, and Andrea Palma. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Also note that this Mexican poster measures 27 3/4" x 37" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had somewhat tattered borders, very slightly extending into the edges of the image. There was a 4" vertical tear in the bottom right corner of the blue background area and a 2" vertical tear in the blue background area above the woman's head at the left of her hair.
