An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (measures 12" x 15"; 24 pages) (Learn More) I Want a Divorce, the 1940 Ralph Murphy romantic relationship melodrama ("Based on a Story by Adela Rogers St. John"; about two couples, one newlywed, and the other a long-married couple planning on divorcing, and the newlyweds are on the verge of splitting up, but when the wife of the divorcing couple commits suicide after losing custody of her son, the newlyweds realize they need to work harder on their marriage and reunite) starring Joan Blondell, Dick Powell, Gloria Dickson, Frank Fay, Jessie Ralph, and Conrad Nagel. Note that stars Joan Blondell and Dick Powell were married at the time of the filming of this movie, but they themselves had a troubled marriage, and then ironically divorced soon after! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fine. This pressbook is in excellent UNCUT condition! It is complete and uncut, which is unusual, since the purpose of pressbooks was for theaters to cut out one or more of the ads and use them in their local newspapers. In addition to being in excellent condition, it is important to note that it has also never been folded, which is also unusual, as almost all larger pressbooks were folded in half so that they could be more easily transported.
