An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" (8x10) Movie Still (Learn More) Mack Sennett was a famous Canadian producer, director, writer, and actor who made many silent slapstick comedies (including those starring the famous Keystone Kops) during the 1910s and continued making movies until 1935, for Triangle, Pathe, and Paramount. Many of the great stars of the 1930s got their start in Mack Sennett comedies. He passed away in 1960 at the age of 80. Important Added Info: Note that there is a stamp from the studio on the back of the still. Someone handwrote, "Mack Sennett, who has contracted to produce a series of 2-reel comedies for Pathe". We believe this occurred right around 1920 (if we are incorrect, it is not by much, and if anyone can exactly date the still, please e-mail us and we will post it here). Condition: very good.
