He also made a few acting appearances in movies from the 1960s to the 1990s. His best acting roles were in Grease (where he parodied his own teen idol image, looking remarkably the same as he had so many years before!), The Alamo, and Panic in Year Zero! He also made appearances with Annette Funicello in several 1960s beach movies! As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 80! Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Frankie Avalon! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
