The East Asiatic Company was a Danish travel agency founded by Hans Niels Andersen in 1897. The East Asiatic Company specialized in passenger and freight travel to the Far East and New York via ship, until air travel caused the company to go out of business in 1969.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never before auctioned an example of this circa 1950s Danish travel poster! If anyone knows more about the exact date of this circa 1950s Danish travel poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has small paper loss in the bottom of the right blank border and a few tiny tears and faint stains in the rest of the borders. Otherwise, the poster has survived in nice condition (see our image)!
