The Show-Off, the 1946 Harry Beaumont screwball comedy ("ROAR with Red Skelton"; "Adapted from the play by George Kelly"; an odd choice of a movie for the likeable Red Skelton, because he plays an obnoxious braggart who is all talk and no action; the movie had been filmed twice before, in 1926 and 1934) starring Red Skelton, Marilyn Maxwell, Marjorie Main, Virginia O'Brien, Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson (black African American performer most famous for his long running role with Jack Benny in his radio and TV shows), Leon Ames, Marshall Thompson, and George Cleveland
