Important Added Info: Note that in 1997, we auctioned a complete set of cards from this 1951 re-release, and of course, that included this close up card. In 2016, we auctioned a laminated example of this card, and it sold for $731. We auctioned THIS example of this card in our 2017 Halloween auction, and the high bidder returned it, surely because he did not look closely enough at the defects, especially the border defects. THEREFORE WE ARE AUCTIONING IT AGAIN NOW IN THIS AUCTION (and of course, we ask that all bidders look closely at the card's defects, so that they are happy with it if they win it)! It is the exact same card from our Halloween auction, so other than this card, we only previously auctioned the 2016 laminated one and the one we auctioned in 1997! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. The card was attached to a mat with glue on the back of each corner, and it was removed from the backing, and there are circular glue stains on the back of each area, but fortunately they have little effect on the front (see both our images). There are tape stains in the blank borders and some of the tape was removed, causing some surface paper loss and causing a thin strip of paper loss in the top left blank corner. There is a pinhole in each corner of the image and two in the top left background area, and three near the center of the card. There are water stains in the right of the bottom border that extend up into the border art, but they are much more noticeable from the back of the card than the front (see our images). Since many of the defects of this card are in the blank borders, it could absolutely be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certainly, restoration could be performed. Either way, the new owner will have a wonderful card to display on their wall!
